Cattery Terms and Conditions

Please Read Before Booking

All Arrivals and Collections of cats MUST be made during cattery hours.

It is the customers responsibility to inform Broome Manor Cattery of any ailments your cat may have e.g scratches, hair loss or any particular needs your cat may have.

Broome Manor Cattery reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health.

The client is deemed to accept that boarding can be stressful for some cats.

Whilst all possible care and attention will be given, cats are boarded entirely at owners risk.

If your cat becomes ill while you are away we will seek veterinary advice and if necessary take your cat to our vet.

Your cat must be wormed and on flea treatment prior to boarding.

We only accept neutered male cats above 6 months of age.

We can board cats from the same household together in the same pen however we do reserve the right to separate them if necessary and charge accordingly.

We reserve the right to administer preventative/parasite treatment if required and charge accordingly.

It is the Owners responsibility to transport their cat safely to and from the cattery preferably with a secure cat carrier.

All cats MUST HAVE a valid certificate of immunization against Feline Influenza and Feline Enteritis. Certificate must be shown on arrival and left at Cattery during stay.

Departures – If you are not collecting the cat yourself please ensure the person collecting is competent in handling your cat.

Broome Manor Cattery reserves the right to re-home your cat if not collected within 15 days of their scheduled departure date.


When there is more than one cat from the same household staying in the same Suite it is not always possible to monitor who is using the litter tray or eating the food and the customer accepts this.

Insurance – Insured through Cliverton Insurance – Please ask for details of cover provided prior to boarding.

Fees are charged per day including the day of arrival and the day of departure.

We accept payment by card only but all bookings must be paid for 30 days prior to arrival.

Any extras need to be paid for on collection.

Cancellation and Amendments – Changes or cancellations notified to us MORE THAN 30 days prior to the arrival date will not incur a charge (apart from the 20% non refundable booking deposit).. Changes or cancellations made with Less than 30 DAYS Notice will be liable for the Boarding Fee in FULL regardless of reason given.

A 20% non refundable deposit is taken to secure your booking.
